Imagine a place where your $100 donation could make a huge impact to your community...
100 Women Who Care of Northern Maine is a philanthropic group brings women together 2 times per year for a one hour meeting to learn about and select a local charity (an official 501(c)3 organization) who will receive a substantial donation from the group.
The simplicity and efficiency are what makes this collective donation so impactful, and it also offers opportunities to learn about local nonprofit organizations that may spark ones own interests and volunteer spirit. All of the leaders and members of 100 Women Who Care of Northern Maine chapter are volunteers and we not keep any of the money collected.

What Do We Do?
What Do We Do?
Our mission is to provide financial assistance to nonprofit organizations (official 501(c)3 organizations) that have a strong presence in and serve the residents of Northern Maine.
At each meeting, we collectively hear from 3 nonprofit organizations each quarter to learn about their mission, and how their mission has an impact on our community. This has spurred some members to volunteer and become engaged in an organization that they knew little about before hearing their representative speak at one of our meetings.
Our goal is to directly given 100% of your donation to the selected charity on the day of the vote, making your donation tax deductible.
